This morning I realized the last time I posted was in January. While my blog writing has been a little slack, I have been busy working behind the scenes on some new things that I can finally share with you.
Dutchland Galleries has a new display in the Tourist Information Center, located at 501 Greenfield Road, Lancaster that includes three of my giclee pieces. There are also many other local artist's work on display in the center. You can purchase art directly from the visitors center or stop down at Kitchen Kettle Village to visit Dutchland Galleries to see their full showroom of art. Both stops are well worth the trip.
This week I added a new location for my giclee prints. If you are out and about enjoying this beautiful spring weather and plan to stop in Lititz, PA be sure to visit the shop Back Home Again (Update: The shop has changed hands and is now owned by Pebbles and Lace since early 2018. My art is still available there) located at 56 E. Main Street, Lititz, to see a collection of my folk art giclees, available framed and unframed. The shop offers local art, photography, an assortment of gifts, keepsakes of Lancaster County and a large selection of beautiful cards. If you have never been to Lititz, you are in for a treat. There are many cute shops and great eateries there. A fun time to visit is during their Second Friday event held each month where the shopkeepers and food establishments are open extra hours. Here are some photos of my work at Back Home Again.
Last but not least, over the past few months I have been working with a company based in Texas that markets painted needlepoint. The company, Painted Pony Designs has licensed 16 of my pieces to start that are now available for order through various needlepoint stores in the United States. Below is a link to their facebook page. Be sure to check out the video from one of their trunk shows that includes my designs and their amazing selection of available needlepoint designs. Scroll down their page to see the video in their January 24th post.
Here are some photos of my designs from their show, Barn Dance. The photo on the right features 12 of my designs on the left two columns.
